The requirement

The existing booster set had failed, leaving the property in need of a replacement water-pressure solution. Alton Facility Services appointed Alton Pumps to complete the specialist pump work for its customer.

The recorded scope was a like-for-like replacement. This allowed the replacement to match the established duty and installation arrangement without making unsupported changes to the wider system.

The pump replacement

The Alton Pumps team attended the London property and installed a new Lowara 5HME06S11M02VBE booster set. Following installation, the set was tried and tested. The project worksheet records the new booster set as working correctly at completion.

The project provides a straightforward example of a planned booster pump installation following equipment failure: identify the established unit, select the correct replacement and prove operation before handover.

Recorded outcome

  • Failed set replaced: the existing booster equipment was replaced with the specified Lowara unit.
  • Operation tested: the installation was tried and tested on site.
  • Working at completion: the engineer's job record confirms the new booster set was working.
